Initial Clean

Clean the NUC inside and out. You might need to blow a dirty unit off outside to avoid getting the lab bench dirty.

  1. Vacuum or blow off exterior of device, focusing on ports and vents
  2. Wipe exterior of NUC with Clorox Wipes and dry
  3. Wipe cables with Clorox Wipes
  4. Remove bottom of NUC and vacuum or blow out dust
  5. Remove RAM, storage devices, and wifi card (if any)
  6. Use dust removing gel to clean
    • interior of NUC
    • cover
    • RAM chips
    • storage devices
  7. Use blower or canned air to blow out the CPU fan
  8. Remove motherboard and clean the top of the board and inside the top cover
  9. Clean the CPU fan
